STRAFOR sees Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) matters as essential to its role, development and long term sustainability.
Environment: STRAFOR is committed to sustainable agricultural practices to be environmentally friendly and climate-smart. Organic farming, crop rotation, reduction of plastic, renewable energy resources, etc remain high on our agenda. These practices are an important key to fight rapid climate change with its looming adverse effects. By promoting agricultural sustainability, food production capacities will improve and at the same time protect the environment from the adverse effects of agriculture.
Social: A key thrusts of STRAFOR’s values is excellent working relationship with farmer communities in each country and area where we operate. We operate under various type of agreements with farmer communities and in each we aim to provide farmers with terms that are not only fair but help them improve the lives and livelihood of their families and communities.
Governance: STRAFOR will also abide by governance best practices, which also resulted in the choice of Singapore for the incorporation of STRAFOR given Singapore’s strong reputation for strict corporate legal and governance system. The group structure is equally simple and transparent from a global taxation standpoint.
